THE OK CLASSIC – A SUCCESSFUL YEAR OF FUNDRAISING FOR OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS
For the past two months, I have fundraised for The OK Classic. The OK Classic is a one day, 20-team, co-ed, 14-inch, charity softball tournament hosted on the 4th Saturday of September every summer on the Softball Fields in Forest Park, Illinois. All proceeds are provided to Opportunity Knocks in support of their mission to provide opportunities and resources for individuals with developmental disabilities.

With your help, we raised $3,000 for OK. My team, The Fireballs, raised $7,335. Thank you, thank you and thank you.
Opportunity Knocks is a completely privately funded non-profit organization, therefore contributions such as yours are crucial in their mission to make a difference for individuals with developmental disabilities. Opportunity Knocks is now in their fourth year of operating the After Opps Program, an after-school/after-work program for teens and young adults with developmental disabilities, or Warriors as they are otherwise known at OK. They are operating the After Opps Program year-round, serving more than 50 Warriors last year!
