Graham Parsons & The Go Rounds at Tonic Room

Featuring The Lantern Kickers

This summer will mark the culmination of the project when The Go Rounds embark on a select run of Michigan performances featuring a huge orchestra. The live ensemble is rooted in the Kalamazoo music collective Double Phelix: a tight knit group of multi-instrumentalists who have honed their chops as a creative recording unit. The band will include horns, strings, multiple drummers, keyboards players, and the glorious harmonies of some of the finest singers you’ve never heard of.

The Lantern Kickers is an Old-time band from Chicago. We delve into the tradition to play the best of American string band music.

Our Name is Jonas (Weezer Tribute Playing The Entire Blue Album) at Tonic Room

Featuring Don’t Speak (A No Doubt Tribute)

Playing a wide variety of hit songs from Weezer’s popular debut The Blue Album up to their most recent release Hurley, Our Name Is Jonas is sure to rock your Superman skivvies off. If you love Weezer, you’ll become infatuated with Our Name Is Jonas. They not only sound exactly like Weezer. They ARE Weezer. When you go to an Our Name Is Jonas live show expect nothing less of the full Weezer experience. From their extremely authentic =w= sign serving as the backdrop to every show to their authentic “Buddy Holly” cardigans, attention to detail is a priority in the band. Having performed The Blue Album from front to back at their very first show, Our Name Is Jonas has already conquered Pinkerton as well. More than a just a fad, they continue to satisfy Weezer fans across the Chicagoland area.
Don’t Speak non-apologetically owns the stage as they whip into highly energetic frenzies – skanking through every show while loyally producing every note, lyric and cadence. Fans of No Doubt, wait no more; the ultimate live experience is here!

6th Annual Black(out) Wednesday at Fitzgerald’s Nightclub

The Shams Band

Featuring Bones Jugs ‘N Harmony, Ryan Joseph Anderson and Los Colognes

Music is supposed to be fun, exciting, thought provoking and daring. On every live performance, The Shams Band makes sure that their audience leaves each concert with a personal feeling of satisfaction. Drawing heavily from their Kinks, Rolling Stones, and Wilco influences, singer/songwriters Biggins/Gulyas create distinct, personal songs. Once completed with unique four-part harmonies, the songs
come to life, tell stories, and send audiences singing all the way home.

The Shams Band features music trapezing the line between blues, country, and pop music. They have opened for national acts Drive-By Truckers, Dawes, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes and Grace Potter & The Nocturnals.

The Shams Band is the epitome of a “do-it-yourself” group. They get every audience excited and dancing from their catchy hooks and rock ‘n roll atmosphere. It’s whiskey-driven. It’s a party. It’s rock ‘n roll with a banjo.

The O’My’s at Schubas

Featuring Lili K and Crussia

The O’My’s are a band of scoundrels and hooligans holding down Rock’n’Soul for the windy city. They will not be stopped and are taking all of the booty. “Free your mind and your ass will follow” -Dr Funkenstein

Lili K. is the charismatic 20 year old songstress whose name is quickly popping up in different circles around the Midwest. Her infectious smile is nothing compared to the reaction that people have upon hearing her sing. Her smooth and sultry sound is countered well by her quirky and energetic live performances with her band, The Secret Garden.

Crussia is an emerging jazz/funk organ trio from Chicago, IL. They combine a movable funk feel with jazz harmony and intuition to create an energetic yet intelligent live show which draws heavily on crowd energy.

The Marla Vickers Project

The Marla Vickers Project is a five-piece rockin country band in Chicago, playing in a variety of venues, festivals, private parties, and other settings all over the Chicago metro area. Their upbeat song list of modern country songs, alongside their original tunes keep listeners entertained and hungry for more! Fueled by the strong vocals, power keys, and energy of front person Marla Vickers, this band never disappoints. One of the most sought-after and recognizable electric and acoustic violinists in the U.S., Bridgid Bibbens, delivers dazzling virtuosity with a unique country vibe. Nick Kapka, the man behind the beat, gives the band its edge by integrating rock drumming patterns into traditional country lines. Lead guitarist Ryan Mahoney brings the signature licks and unmistakable country twang to each song. Jon Ilijic holds down the bottom end with fat, articulate bass lines.
