Vocalist and songwriter YASMINE became one of the members of GroupChat, a Chicago-based funk fusion band, in 2022. YASMINE has penned some of GroupChat’s fan favorites, including "Heartstrings" and continues to share her songwriting and vocal chops in the spaces and sounds of R&B and Neo-Soul. 

YASMINE parlayed her role as the lead singer of GroupChat into her solo career as an R&B and pop artist. Her training in the Bel Canto technique and influence from the likes of vocalists like Alicia Keys, Jazmine Sullivan, and SZA allow YASMINE to communicate a compelling message and create a unique sound that is spiked with style, passion, and soul.
